Why Jasmine Wants To Serve

I am what what you call a "Dreamy Idealist". I am someone who puts others needs before mine. I love helping those who are less fortunate by providing them the needs they need to live better, feel and be better. To be happy by knowing there's services like AmeriCorps, PeaceCorps, etc. by their side, helping them day by day in anyway that they can to bring peace. To bring an end to misery and hurt.
My passion is making someone's life better anyway that I can. During my service in AmeriCorps I enjoyed applying disaster survivors for FEMA assistance, providing imformation/refrence to nearest shelters, etc. It let's me know that I'm getting the word out to those in need of assistant that there is help waiting for you. I just wish I could do more.

About

I love community service work. There's something about giving back to the community that makes me feel good about life. I feel happy and OK with myself knowing I'm helping someone in need assistants being provided that assistant. I also love to bake, cook and try new things. I'm a free spirit. I love traveling.
