At Iowa Campus Compact, our mission is to support our member institutions as they fulfill the public purpose that is at the heart higher education. We partner with institutions to assist in prioritizing what matters most and to adapt to changing times in ways that allow us to continue to have a positive impact in our communities and on the world.

In 2019, Iowa Campus Compact formed a three-year strategic alliance with Minnesota Campus Compact. The alliance will allow us to operate more efficiently and effectively so that we can work with more of your students, staff, faculty, and partners to address the most pressing issues that face us all from political polarity to student food insecurity to workforce readiness.

The Iowa College AmeriCorps Program (ICAP) is a community service opportunity for currently enrolled college students in the state of Iowa to connect with their community through service. The goal of our AmeriCorps program is to connect students with nonprofits in your community by matching their interests and skills to the needs of local organizations with the primary goal of building the organization’s capacity. Most commonly, students recruit volunteers from their college campus and then match them to service projects at their nonprofit.
