Our AmeriCorps members serve 1700 hours over a one-year term with different housing nonprofits throughout Kentucky. The AmeriCorps member serving at The Nest Center for Women, Children, and Families will assist people experiencing housing insecurity to prevent eviction or homelessness. The member will work on client intake and assessment to determine the appropriate services for the client. This may include service referrals to other agencies. The member will also conduct housing-focused case management and housing counseling to ensure housing stabilization.
