Description

The Hope Center in Lexington, Kentucky, is seeking a VISTA member to support the development department with communications, fundraising, and community outreach to strengthen the organization's capacity to provide life-sustaining services to individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The VISTA member will support the Hope Center in updating and expanding our supporter bases and executing a plan to engage new donors and re-engage lapsed donors. In addition, the VISTA member will increase community awareness and education of the Hope Center's mission to provide services such as food and clothing, addiction recovery, mental health treatment, housing, and employment services. To enhance their personal and professional development, each VISTA member will participate in a number of comprehensive training and learning experiences during their service year.
