Description

Homes for All VISTA is a National Service Program that is recruiting for the Marketing and Community Engagement VISTA position that is available with Metropolitan Housing Coalition. This position will be serving in Louisville KY and has a start date of July 19, 2021. VISTA members will provide unique services that will enable agencies to increase funding, community support, and sustainable services to low-income Kentuckians. The Marketing and Community Engagement VISTA position duties include:

-Launch a campaign to educate community about the critical role of the development and location of affordable housing using articles, social media, and other outreach efforts
-Organize community education events to inform the community of relevant issues and proposals
-Create and implement a sustainable social media plan to provide content to all stakeholders
-Build Metropolitan Housing Coalition's capacity for effective advocacy by developing an online advocacy tool to make community engagement easier for constituents

Benefits include: modest living allowance of $13,362, end of year education award ($6,345) or cash award ($1,800) upon successful completion of the program, healthcare, relocation allowance, training, networking, support, childcare assistance for those that qualify, and mileage reimbursement
