Our AmeriCorps members serve 1200 hours by July 31st with different housing nonprofits throughout Kentucky. The AmeriCorps member at Family Scholar House will work with single parents and children that are experiencing homelessness before they enter services with the organization. Beginning with intake, the members will work alongside the clients until they enter the residential program. This includes financial education, budgeting, case management, and connecting individuals with benefits and services.
