Resource development VISTA members create, document and implement plans for donor engagement, tracking and recognition to increase the overall donor experience and commitment to Habitat’s mission. The system you devise should include marketing strategies to fund new programs, targeting local individuals, businesses, faith organizations and other community groups. To support financial sustainability, you will be expected to document all strategies, evaluate the success of the plan and adjust as needed.

Many benefits vary by service location. However all Habitat AmeriCorps members will have the opportunity to travel to the Habitat AmeriCorps Build-a-Thon, an annual blitz build event. Habitat AmeriCorps members also receive a variety of position specific trainings including CPR/First Aid, Lockton Safety Courses, and many more. Additional HFHMGC AmeriCorps perks include a rental stipend of $300 a month and fun local events.
