Description

Serve on an entrepreneurial Habitat for Humanity International team that is rolling out expertise hubs in a transformational effort to better support its ~1,200 affiliated organizations that drive on-the-ground impact! The two expertise hubs being implemented this year are the Resource Development Expertise Hub and the Management and Operations Expertise Hub. As the AmeriCorps VISTA – Expertise Hub Project Development member, you will partner with Expertise Hub leaders to roll-out improved tools and services in order to enhance affiliate service to individuals seeking a way out of poverty housing. The VISTA member will be part of the larger Collaborative Operating Model strategic initiative which aims to refine and implement a U.S. support model that provides the greatest value to Habitat for Humanity organizations across the country.

Located in downtown Atlanta, Habitat for Humanity International was rated the best U.S. nonprofit to work for by Indeed.com in 2017. Atlanta is a dynamic and growing city with a fantastic music scene, great arts and culture, and rich history. In addition to numerous city parks and other outdoor spaces, great hiking and camping can be found just a couple of hours away in the north Georgia mountains.
