Community Need Addressed

Many of Northwest Florida citizens live below or just above poverty. The concentration of service/tourist industry jobs and the largely rural areas between urban centers create a skills training and job opportunity creates resource and achievement gaps. Still others, even those who live in urban areas, lack adequate access to banking and internet resources to compete in today's job and asset-building landscape. Goodwill was founded on the idea that helping individuals become self-sufficient in all parts of their lives increases their quality of life.
