I discovered how great it is to serve during my year working as part of the Maine Conservation Corps. Through my service I want to build up myself to live the life I want. I want to be engaged with each moment I have, including my work life. Service work allows me put my heart into my work and be fully engaged with what I am doing. I serve to fill my desire to do good in the world and be able to put my full heart into my work. Serving with the Maine Conservation Corps has been a capstone in my life and I want to keep expanding. I am ready to try even more new things. I am excited to keep exploring. I want to share everything that I have learned with others and help make things better.
