Description

Three half-time (940 hours) Hunger Action Corps members will work alongside the Programs Team to plan and execute programming targeting older adults who face food insecurity. The Food Depository currently serves older adults assorted produce and shelf stable goods through older adult markets conveniently located in senior centers and residential buildings. Hunger Action Corps members serving in this capacity will play a critical role in implementing programs aimed at alleviating hunger among older adults in Cook County, and providing additional resources for those in our community most vulnerable to hunger.
