Description

Lutheran Social Services of Northern California is a leader in providing housing and innovative, effective support services to keep people housed. At Lutheran Social Services (LSS) we provide more than a roof, we provide hope and compassionate support services. We help break down the barriers that lead to homelessness by providing money management services, academic and employment assistance, access to healthcare, and much more...whatever it takes for each individual to move into self-sufficiency.

The LEVN corps members serving at LSS will create individualized self-care plans based on participants' needs and program requirements; schedule and facilitate and create health prevention educational groups, life skills groups, and other appropriate groups; provide leadership to participants through problem-solving, role-modeling, and open communication; attend and represent LSS in various community meetings; engage in community outreach, building partnerships with community-based organizations; and other duties as assigned to ensure client success.
