Description

Main Street Steamboat is an economic development organization. Our mission is to preserve, promote and enhance like in Downtown Steamboat Springs.

The primary responsibility of the Intern will be to assist the Executive Director with daily duties and ongoing projects. As the year progresses, individual projects that the intern can lead will be assigned as warranted. Duties include but are not limited to:

-Attending board and committee meetings when neccassry, preparing documents for meetings.
-Assisting with event planning, marketing and execution. Events include, the annual Chili Challenge, Style Show, Sidewalk sales, Winter Carnival, Farmers Market among others
-Interfacing with the community to collect data and distribute information
-Updating promotional and marketing material

Corps members serve up to 35 hours in partner agencies. Up to 8 hours a week is spent in personal and professional development as a team.
