Description
ECO AmeriCorps is seeking a highly qualified Team Leader to help guide the program and its members to continued success in the 2018-2019 service year.
ECO members serve full-time (40 hours per week) at sites across Vermont implementing strategies to improve water quality and reduce waste. We help participants shape a career in environmental conservation, while placing feet on the ground in a fight for Vermont’s environment. We partner with municipalities, conservation districts, planning commissions, solid waste districts, and nonprofit organizations to monitor water quality, implement projects, provide outreach and education, and plan future interventions. The team leader is a critical link to ensure the success of these members and the program as a whole. The selected candidate will collaborate with ECO AmeriCorps staff and other program partners to develop and implement strategies to help ensure program and member success.
We seek a highly motivated self-starter who is passionate about the environment, and has a proven track record in national service. Priority may be given to those with a bachelor's degree or higher with a major or significant coursework related to environmental conservation, natural or agricultural sciences, environmental studies, engineering, government/policy, communications or other related fields; or to those with demonstrated skills in project coordination, volunteer management, communications, and/or national service.
