EARN TO LEARN EMPOWERS LOW- TO MODERATE-INCOME STUDENTS TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE COLLEGE.

  • About Us
We accomplish this mission through an innovative, four-pillar approach to financial preparation for college, including:

    Matched Savings Financial Assistance
    Near-Peer Success Coaching
    Financial Capability Education
    Mentorship
  • Our Impact
    Personal Finance Training
This revolutionary “savings to financial assistance” program empowers low- to moderate-income students in Florida to successfully complete college through matched-savings financial assistance, financial education, and success coaching. Eligible students complete personal finance training and establish a habit of savings by making a minimum of six consecutive deposits totaling up to $500 in an Earn to Learn FL savings account. They then receive an 8:1 match on their savings, up to $4,000 per year for tuition and related costs at Florida universities, state colleges and technical colleges.

    Outreach
Earn to Learn FL’s holistic model is already yielding impressive results. Initial data demonstrate our student’s retention, persistence, and retention to complete their program is significantly higher than the national average. Earn to Learn FL is often the difference between dropping out and earning a degree. Because of Earn to Learn FL, the American dream of achieving higher education is possible for many who may not otherwise have considered it.

    Success Coaching
The goal of Near Peer Coaching for Postsecondary Success is to increase the number of high school students who enroll and complete postsecondary education. Near Peer Coaches are current college students or recent college graduates from universities and colleges. Near Peer Coaches receive intensive training to order to deliver personalized, knowledgeable support on college admission, financial aid and enrollment to low-income, first-generation college, and underrepresented high school students.

    Mentorship
Our goal is to connect every Earn to Learn FL student with a mentor to guide their pathway to professional success. Mentors of IMPACT appeals to community leaders to mentor Earn to Learn FL students.
