The CTEP member will use the Northstar Digital Literacy curriculum and assessments to help individuals improve their technical literacy while they are looking for work. The Member will do this by offering structured classes specific to a technology skill such as email use, web navigation, word processing and more. The Member will also teach and assist individuals on a one to one or small group basis as is needed in the public resource rooms. CTEP Member will track Northstar certificates earned and the employment outcomes of those they serve. The CTEP Member will serve a diverse group of individuals including people ages 14 and up, some who speak limited English and/or are New Americans and all who are seeking employment.

Additional Benefits

Special Note: this position will pay an extra $50/month in the form of a gas card for an AmeriCorps member that would need to travel more than 10 miles to get to their service site.
