The CTEP Member will be serving adult immigrants and refugees in our adult basic education program. The Digital Literacy Advocate will work under the supervision of the Program Manager and in direct partnership with the ABE Coordinator and ABE Teachers in delivering digital literacy classes to our adult students. Our students range from complete beginners to low-intermediate level in terms of their English abilities, and the majority of them are new to the country within the last year. Many students have little to no previous computer experience, so the CTEP is responsible for creating a welcoming and supportive space where students can experiment, practice, enjoy and develop basic computer skills. The CTEP member will oversee a self-study lab and teach computer classes between 2PM and 6PM, Monday - Thursday. The CTEP member will also create online materials for our website and update our online learning materials.
