Pueblo Hispanic Education Foundation helps students turn their educational dreams into goals and those goals into reality by providing scholarships and support for higher education to students in need from all backgrounds, including those of Hispanic ancestry, from Pueblo and Southern Colorado to assist them in achieving lifelong success. The Communications and Development Coordinator VISTA will be a part of an organization that has served the Pueblo Community for 33 years! The people of Pueblo are always willing to take care of each other so that the outcome is continued success of our city. PHEF has created long term relationships and continues to make new friends in an effort to keep meeting our mission. Hundreds of students have received scholarships over the years to further their secondary education.

Service Activities

The Communications and Development Coordinator VISTA's duties will include: 1) Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing 2) Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral 3) Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management 4) Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice 5) Develop content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts 6) Cultivate relationships with external donors to ensure high-quality and relevant information to boost fundraising efforts 7)Research and examine grant opportunities for the organization in alignment with capacity.
