CRC’s work environment is fast-paced, dynamic, and flexible, and is growing with AmeriCorps VISTA team members. CRC is a member of the Colorado Collaborative for Nonprofits. This is a grant-funded position currently funded through June 30, 2023. While CRC’s office is based in Denver, this position will operate remotely and candidates outside of the Denver area are encouraged to apply.
Your Role
The Assistant Program Manager will support the recruitment and enrollment of members for the Colorado Healthcare Corps (CHC) project, a groundbreaking program CRC is launching in partnership with Governor’s office, Serve Colorado, and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The Assistant Program Manager will build relationships with the AmeriCorps State and National (ASN) host sites and members, report to the larger program team, determine ways to support members, oversee program activities, manage AmeriCorps grant guidelines, and contribute to the National Service team at CRC.
Primary Responsibility
PROGRAM OVERSIGHT
• Member recruitment activities including helping create social media and marketing materials, connecting with schools, colleges, and CRC partners to advertise the position
• Hiring support including review and scoring of applications and interviewing
• Member Support, including onboarding, 1:1 meeting and professional development support
• Maintain strong relationships with up to 10 host sites, member supervisors and other program stakeholders
• Conduct regular (check-ins with host site supervisors and gather feedback on the program and members
• Work with CRC staff and ASN team to showcase the ASN program via social media, newsletter articles, etc.
• Attend regular team meetings and CRC staff meetings
ADMINISTRATION
• Collect documentation and input members into the CRC system (Heartland, DocuSign, and other tracking tools) and AmeriCorps systems (My AmeriCorps, eGrants, and OnCorps)
• Monitor and enter key data about the program, review timesheets for compliance, manage internal and external databases
• Ensure prompt enrollment, tracking, and exiting of AmeriCorps members within eGrants system
• Collect and synthesize data from both members and host sites
• Assist with compliance monitoring activities

• Experience working independently, as part of a fast-paced project
• Must have the ability to work remotely, including access to reliable internet and home office workspace
• Demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and experience working with diverse communities
• Ability to pass a CNCS criminal background check
Experience and Education Required
• Have a related Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Experience working in healthcare, public health, or disaster response
Preferred Candidates will be:
• Fluent in multiple languages
