  • About Us
Community Mediation Maryland's AmeriCorps positions focus on Prisoner Re-entry Mediation, School-Based Mediations & Conflict Resolution Workshops, and Youth/Police Dialogue Circles.
  • Our Impact
Prisoner Re-entry Mediation - By providing inmates and their family and support people with the opportunity to attend mediation before release the returning resident is 10% to 24% less likely to be reincarcerated. The percentage relates to the number of mediations that happen before release.

School Based Mediation - Providing students with the opportunity to mediate their conflicts in school helps to prevent exclusionary discipline and lower discipline referral rates.

Youth/Police Dialogue Circles - Providing youth and police officers the opportunity to have a facilitated dialogue.
