We Grow Good Eaters! Common Threads connects kids to healthy food through hands on gardening and cooking programs.

• About Us
  Common Threads currently gardens, cooks, and eats with close to 8000 children annually and collaborates with teaching and food service staff in 21 local schools. We actively seek out partnerships with community organizations that target services to low-income youth, and continuously ask ourselves what the next innovation or collaboration might be to most effectively engage children’s curiosities and passions for developing life-long healthy eating habits.
• Our Impact
  As a result of our programs, kids become more excited to try new foods. Our programs also: Strengthen hard skills(knife skills, hygiene, hot to plant, tend and harvest), Support socio-emotional learning around taking turns and cooperating, serve as an opportunity for kids to blossom in a non-traditional learning setting.
