Catalyze College Coach-Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology

Provide college success support for College Possible students as they persist towards their goals of earning their college degrees. Serve as an extension of campus student services by providing proactive communication to students to support their successful navigation of available resources. Foster a sense of community among College Possible students at your college or university by planning events for students and supporting the peer-driven efforts of the College Possible Community Leaders. Reports to the College Possible Campus Program Lead at their college or university service site.

Service Activities

Essential Functions:

• Communicate with program participants, supervisor and other campus staff, and College Possible staff in-person and via email, text, phone, Facebook and other technology tools
• Track and record coaching activities and student progress notes in Salesforce relationship management system
• Provide individual, one-on-one coaching to students
• Participate in weekly training sessions, both virtually and in-person

Community Need Addressed

Catalyze College Coaches serve at a higher education instutition and coach students as they navigate the milestones and resources essential to graduating from college. Coaches maintain proactive communication, help link students to services already available on campus, plan events for students and connect students to meaningful opportunities.

Position Outcomes

Through the service of Catalyze coaches, we see low income students become college graduates.

Positions may be eligible for housing/meal plan on partner campus. This determination has not been finalized. Depending upon decision, living allowance may be adjusted.
