Description

Build leadership, education, counseling, community organizing, and teamwork skills — and have a great time doing it.
College Forward is fueled by committed, creative, and passionate AmeriCorps*Texas members who are determined to change the world through education. Here, members are more than hired hands — they’re valued contributors to everything we do.
Our culture: At College Forward, AmeriCorps*Texas members are valued contributors to everything we do. In fact, College Forward is largely the creation of committed and creative AmeriCorps members who believe deeply in our mission and were determined to change the world through education.
What’s it like at to serve with College Forward? Think “Whistle While You Work.” We’re serious about our goals and we work extremely hard, but our light-hearted, team-based approach makes many of our duties feel like play. Working under the guidance of dedicated AmeriCorps members, our students are able to accomplish great things — not because we drive them relentlessly, but because they are fulfilled by the journey itself.
