I've always loved the outdoors - recently I've begun backpacking and exploring Texas state and national parks. The idea of working in nature for the public good is exciting to be. I am passionate about public service, public policy, and history; in particular, FDR's New Deal policies which founded the Civilian Conservation Corps have always sparked my interest.
I go to Texas State University studying Political Science, History, and English; I have about 86 hours completed. I'm currently taking a break from school but plan on returning within a year to complete my degree. My hobbies include: cycling, camping/backpacking, going to concerts, and festivals. I've previously held part time positions at numerous bicycle shops in Texas.
