AmeriCorps VISTA Data Collection Coordinator

The Data Collection Coordinator will (1) improve and develop UVU PREP student application systems and processes, (2) develop UVU PREP student evaluation process for acceptance into UVU PREP, (3) develop a data collections system with afterschool programs, (4) improve data tracking systems for past and future UVU PREP students, and (5) use collected data to improve UVU PREP presentation and report materials and accuracy.

Service Activities

Create systems to track the student applications and processes.
Assess current student progress and identify areas of improvement.
Track demographic information
Develop presentation materials

Community Need Addressed

The Data Collection Coordinator will help UVU SCUP serve additional youth effectively by collecting and analyzing data and in so doing, help UVU SCUP more fully fulfill its mission to provide education assistance to the Central Utah region to increase academic stability, enhance economic viability, and raise awareness of programs that directly benefit community members.

Position Outcomes

This position will improve data collection and analysis for UVU SCUP in order to improve program services and outcomes through evaluation and assessment.
