Description

BAYAC AmeriCorps Members will serve in positions such as After-School Educators, Academic Coaches & Tutors, Program Coordinators, Student Advocates, Assistant Teachers, and Health Educators in school based and community based organizations around the San Francisco Bay Area. Members will participate in weekly Friday team day meetings that include personal and professional development trainings & peer support throughout the duration of their service. Members will also engage in National Community Service days such as Make A Difference Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Service Day, and Cesar Chavez Service Day.
