Description
Construction Crew Leader Assistants must be role models and provide leadership for at-risk teens and young adults in the construction of affordable housing. On site, you will be leading crews in coordination with program staff, ensuring member safety, project quality, & assisting with project documentation. Training in safety, basic construction, green-building, tutoring and leadership skills; tools, and safety gear provided. Applicants should have previous construction experience and relevant leadership experience; at least 6 months service with AmeriCorps or similar organization preferred.
