Description
Austin Achieve AmeriCorps reading specialists are trained to implement a unique reading intervention curriculum to serve scholars at Austin Achieve who are reading below grade level in both upper elementary and middle school. Specialists will through extensive training with the AmeriCorps Program Director before they are placed with scholars, and will continue to receive training throughout the year. Reading specialists serve 42.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 7:00-3:30pm.
