Learn more about the role civic engagement and service play in American democracy with this online course created by Service Year Alliance and Arizona State University!
Service Year Alliance has partnered with Arizona State University to help corps members learn about how their service connects to the history of service and civic engagement in America while also providing the option to receive college credit. Our course, National Service and American Democracy, is designed to cover the current state of civic engagement in the US and how national service plays a role, as well as prompt learners to think about their own personal views and involvement with civic engagement and national service. This course is part of ASU’s Global Freshman Academy.
