The Financial Literacy Coordinator (FLC) will greet guests and ensure client information is entered and current in the agency’s customer management system (CMS). The FLC will then assist people with appropriate referrals, both internally and externally, and track the referrals in the CMS. The FLC will provide and/or coordinate with the Financial Literacy Program Manager to conduct Financial Literacy classes to interested community members, develop an on-line financial literacy program that can be extended to in-person classes, and provide client data reports to the Financial Literacy Program Manager. The Financial Literacy Coordinator will be in charge of establishing and implementing the Financial Literacy courses on-line, setting the ground work for all future Financial Literacy courses. The FLC will follow an outcome-tracking process to ensure follow-up with people, including obtaining the status of intended outcomes.
Service Activities
Learn about community resources and share updates on community resources with others Conduct weekly Financial Literacy classes both on-line and in in-person Communicate with people in person, over the phone, via email and other remote options such as Zoom meetings Refer people appropriately to CPA's for the Tax Credit Data entry Track outcomes Prepare, run and present reports Analyze data and reports, share with others Coordinate meetings and informational sessions, including space scheduling Conduct outreach events to promote the financial literacy program

Primarily people of Okanogan County who have low incomes, who would like to take financial literacy classes.
