Full-Time Community School Member 21-22

Community School Members: Develop and Teach social-emotional skill-building classes for a focused group of students and provide social-emotional learning for students and families individually. Coordinate health and wellness focused family events and workshops. Recruit and Coordinate family and community volunteers. Lead & Support site-specific projects and activities, including school-based food pantries, community gardens, clothing closets, etc.

Service Activities

SEL curriculum development, teaching, and mentorship for students and families; Community Outreach & Engagement; Volunteer development, recruitment, and supervision for community members; Support other school-based community programs and services specific to school site description (listed on agency website)

Social Emotional Learning and Skill-building for youth and families; Fostering Student Identity, Voice, and Sense of Belonging; Addressing Food Insecurity and Creating Access to nutritious, culturally-inclusive food systems; Engage Community Members in Wellness & Volunteer Opportunities
